Website (in a Week)

6 spots
raise money
for Gaza

Your budget shouldn’t stop you having a site you’re proud to share. Together we’ll create your online home in one week and put an end to wasting your time in your DMs (and on DIY).

Listen... I don’t think everyone necessarily needs a custom website, with all of the time and financial commitment that takes.

If you’re starting out (or maybe just want something simple), investing in a big website project costing thousands might not feel like a good fit.

But, it’s all too easy to spend more time than you need (or have!) DIY-ing.

Let me help you bridge that g-a-p with a done-with-you website, ready in a week.

[ I’m offering 6 of these spots as fundraisers for my friends in Gaza - more on that below. ]

    • Design and copy workbook to complete beforehand

    • A design week where I put together your content into a pre-designed website template, with a check in mid-week

    • Video tutorials on how to edit and update your site

    • Launch graphics to get it out there

    • Peace of mind that you have an online home that speaks to your values

    • More time to spend on other parts of your business knowing the essential information folk need to work with you are online

    • In the case of those where funds are donated to Gaza, a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that you’re helping someone rebuild their life

  • Website in a Week costs £500; you can either pay all in one go or pay a 25% deposit and then split the remainder up into 3 equal payments.

    • You’ll have to pay your SQSP subscription, which is around £200

    • Prepared copy - you’ll need to provide this, but there’s a guide

    • Cost of template - I suggest using a free SQSP one (or feel free to purchase one/use one you’ve already bought)

    • Lots of customisations. If you’re looking for something more unique or with different capabilities than what the template offers, you’d be better booking in for a longer website project.

The process

1.

After you book your chosen week, I’ll send you some homework to do: a questionnaire which covers your business goals and design preferences; advice on choosing a template, and a workbook to gather copy and content. Submit this prior to our call.

2.

We’ll have a call on the Monday to go over your questionnaire and make sure we’re on the same page with goals and that I have everything I need to get started. If you’re unsure about which template might be best we can chat about that too.

3.

I get to work putting everything together. On Wednesday I’ll send you a link to the site to check the site over and give feedback; I’ll test it and do backend checks and get to work on making it live.

4.

Your site is ready to launch (or, will be when you’re ready to!) You’ll be sent videos on how to update the content and tweak styles yourself, and get some launch graphics to share the news about your new online home.

Website in a Week (for Gaza)

Solidarity, not charity

Over the past year and a bit, after watching with horror the situation in Gaza, I’ve been trying to use my skills in solidarity with the people of Palestine. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know I’ve been fundraising for some families there.

As it becomes harder to collect money through appealing for funds, I’ve decided to contribute all funds from 6 Website in a Week slots to mutual aid for the families I’m in touch with. This money goes towards survival and rebuilding their futures.

Booking dates (Week of):

FAQs

What platform will it be on?

I use Squarespace primarily because it’s really easy for clients to manage and works well for a huge range of clients, from service providers to artists.

How available do I need to be during my design week?

Because the time is ring fenced to that week, you need to be around for a call on the Monday, and then be able to send your feedback to work done through the week by the Thursday.

What if i don’t have a brand/photos?

You’ll get some homework to do prior to the the design week to help you pull together visual inspiration, so if you don’t have your own assets I’ll add fonts and colours and images.

Where is the money going?

6 spots are being allocated as fundraisers for families in Gaza that I’m in contact with, to help them rebuild their lives.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! You can pay a 25% deposit and then pay the remainder in 3 parts (or we can chat about what would be most supportive to you).

What if I don’t like it?

You’ll get videos showing you how to manage all of your content, create new pages and images, and alter colours and fonts, so if you’re not happy with how it looks you’ll be easily able and empowered to tweak things to your liking yourself. You can also book me for a half day if necessary.
